Stationary bandsaw PROFI Discover the Profi -version of our machine – advanced technology, automated processes, and practical extras ensure precision, functionality, and elegance. For those who value performance, comfort, and reliability, our premium product leaves nothing to be desired! Sawhead Cab The moving cabin provides comfortable, dust-free work in a low-noise environment. Operation is carried out by a screen and two joysticks, while direct visibility of the cut material enables continuous quality control. To have a good view behind the saw head, a rearview camera with its own monitor is used. As an alternative to the moving cabin, a fixed-to-theground control panel can also be installed. Optional with air conditioning. Dual precutters Longer cutting life. Precutters at both ends of the log trim dirty sections of the raw log to provide clean entrance and exit faces for the saw blade. This dramatically increases the maintenance interval for the saw teeth. The two precutters can be controlled individually. Crosscutter The cross cutter automatically trims the boards to the desired length during cutting or cuts long timber into multiple boards. The crosscut saw can optionally be rotated 90° and used as a longitudinal cutter. An integrated laser shows the cutting line. Pressure guides Precise guidance. Hydraulic pressure guides give the saw blade extra support and reliable guidance. They are retracted during reverse travel to avoid heating the saw blade. As a result, precise cutting is possible even at elevated feed rates. Each guide can be positioned individually to be as close as possible to the log. Automatic log measurement Highly recommended for contract cutting. During the fi rst cut, the log is measured and saved according to the customer and type of wood. The log measurement also allows cross-measur-ing or automatic alignment of the log. Sawdust box The sawdust is collected in its own container and is automatically emptied when it reaches the end position. Alternatively, it is also available with a suction device. Automatic plank remover When reversing, the plank remover automatically positions itself at the cutting height and pushes the slab or each individual board to the side. Plank gripper: Especially useful for long timber, when the cross cutter trims the long planks to the desired lengths multiple times. During the return, the plank gripper stacks the individual planks on top of the first plank and places them all together to the side. Sawblade replacement The protective covers are hydraulically opened when changing the saw blade. The saw blade can be easily removed and replaced. The band saw is ready for use again in no time. Guideway Log loader with log securing The hydraulic log loader lifts the log onto the guideway, allowing the timber refinement process to begin. Turning chains The turning chains rotate logs of various sizes and shapes, as well as squared timber, quickly and gently into the desired position. They are also used to eject the cut material to the side. Longitudinal rollers The longitudinal rollers move the log back and forth for optimal use of the clamping tongs, ensuring the log is securely fixed. Clamping tongs The individually height-adjustable clamping tongs allow precise horizontal alignment of the log and securely fix it in place. Thanks to integrated height monitoring, the tongs automatically position themselves at the required minimum height during the fi nal cut without cutting into the tongs. Curved beams can be carefully pulled down onto the log support using the tongs. Squaring For squared timber, slats, and parallel stock, the cut material is positioned at a 90° angle. Thanks to the tongs‘ fine adjustment function, the angle can be precisely corrected as necessary. Outfeed rollers The outfeed rollers transport the cut material lenghtwise, either forward or back, over the conveyor for further mechanization. Log infeed The hydraulic log infeed conveyor transports the wood to the log loader. Several logs can be loaded onto the conveyor at the same time. Plank outfeed The plank outfeed chains transport the cut material on working height to the edger. They can be controlled either from the cabin or directly at the rip saw. Gripper carriage Even more fl exibility is provided by the gripper carriage, which allows to pick up each individual board or an entire stack of boards and gently place them in the selected box at the front.
